The Portable Pocket Hole Jig

The porter hole jig is one of the most bizarre tools that a craftsman may have in his toolbox. It is a specialized tool designed for building joints. It comes in power tool and hand tool formats. While the jig is great for holding joints together and assembling the joints, it does little else. When a user needs to complete a different task, he needs to switch to a different tool.
There is nothing wrong with using a specialized toool. Allen and torque wrenches are used infrequently, but they are a necessary part of any handy man’s personal tool set. The Allen wrenches can be stored carefully when they are not needed elsewhere.
The pocket hole jig is not a large tool. It has to fit in small places.  The companies make the tools to be portable.  The owner can take them to many different job sites. The user can also let them sit in a room for years.
